Privacy Policy

CryptoKoinCap (“we”, “the site”) publishes cryptocurrency market data. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and what third parties may collect when you visit.

What we store about you

The website does not ask you to create an account, and it collects no names, email addresses or payment details. It stores three things in your own browser only, using local storage:

• your watchlist — the coins you starred;
• your display currency (USD or INR);
• your light or dark theme choice.

These never leave your device and are never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently.

The CryptoKoinCap app

The Android and iPhone apps show the same market data as the site, and most of the app works without an account. This is what the app stores, and where.

• Price alerts and the morning brief. When you set your first alert, the app registers the phone for notifications. We keep the push token Apple or Google issues for it, the alerts you set, the coins you watch, your language, display currency and time-zone offset, so each alert arrives in your language and currency at a sensible hour. No name or contact detail is attached to it. A token Apple or Google reports as no longer valid is deleted.
• An account, if you choose one. Signing in with Apple or Google gives us an identifier from that provider and, if the provider shares them, your email address and name. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email, in which case we receive a relay address. We use these only to recognise you on another phone and to apply your plan.
• With an account we also keep your synced watchlist and, on the Ultra plan, the public wallet addresses you choose to follow.
• Your portfolio stays on your phone. When you ask for a portfolio analysis, your holdings travel with that one request, are used to work out the answer, and are not stored.
• Subscriptions are sold by Apple and Google and managed through RevenueCat. We never see card or bank details: RevenueCat tells us which plan is active for your account identifier, and nothing more.
• Questions you put to the in-app assistant are sent by our server, without your account details, to DeepSeek, which writes the answer. We do not keep the questions; we keep a count per day to apply your plan’s limit.
• Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint unlock is handled entirely by your phone; we never receive biometric data.
• The app shows no ads, contains no advertising or analytics code, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

To delete your account, open More › Account › Delete account in the app. Your account, sessions, synced watchlist and followed wallets are removed from our servers at once. You can also ask us by email; see how to delete your account. An active subscription is billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled in the store as well.

Server logs

Our servers record ordinary request logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent — for security and to diagnose faults. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold.

Advertising and cookies

This site may display advertising served by Google, including Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
• Google’s own practices are described in its privacy and terms.

Advertising cookies are set only after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Analytics is Umami, hosted by Umami Cloud, and it is cookieless: it sets no identifier and stores nothing on your device, counting each visit through a rotating hash of the request instead. That is why it runs for every visitor rather than waiting for the banner. It records the page viewed, the referring site, and a coarse country, device and browser — nothing that builds a profile of you, and nothing shared for advertising. Google Analytics was removed on 9 September 2026 and no longer runs on this site.

Third-party data sources

Market data is requested by our servers, not your browser, from Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Bybit, Kraken, Bitget, MEXC, Gate.io, Upbit, HTX, Phemex, Crypto.com, KuCoin, Bitfinex, Gemini, Bitstamp, BitMart, Toobit, WEEX, BingX, BTSE, WhiteBIT, LBank, DigiFinex, Coinstore and Hyperliquid, plus Deribit and Jupiter, and from CoinStats, CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, DexScreener and Frankfurter. Those providers therefore see our server’s requests, not yours. Coin logos are served from our own server too, so your browser never contacts a third-party image host to display one.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy; the date above always reflects the current version.
